SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITIES

The Alterra Mountain Company Community Foundation is a public charity created to provide financial support to members of the communities in which Alterra operates.

OUR MISSION

TO HELP SUPPORT ALTERRA’S COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN THEIR TIME OF NEED

The Community Foundation currently focuses on granting emergency relief and hardship assistance to those in need within the communities surrounding Alterra’s North American destinations. Grants are available to individuals and organizations.

Alterra founders Henry Crown and Company and KSL Capital Partners, along with former CEO Rusty Gregory, provided the initial donations of $2.6 million to launch the Foundation. In addition to ongoing support from Alterra Mountain Company, public donations are paramount to the Foundation’s success and ongoing impact.
